"Pleasant stay in the good weather. Cabin was clean, the hosts were very helpful & the common area was clean with food we were able to prepare. Toilet facilities are external but comfortable & clean. All walkways are well lit & I would suggest if you have the option to get in some star gazing. We had a fine evening & enjoyed a glass of wine while looking at the Milky Way. Perfect."
"Booked via booking. They cancelled my booking at the last minute (I already paid without cancellation!) due to a mistake of double booking. After weeks of negotiation, they only agree to maybe reimburse up to €25 if I send in my invoice AFTER my trip. I will not use booking anymore in the future (pity, as I have been using it for many many years). The reason of using booking is that they have better power to negotiate with the hotels. This was the case in the past. Now, it is no longer worth paying such a fee to booking, as they won't help you in case of problem anyway."
"I hope I could give negative stars. Cancelled my booking almost one month after the booking was confirmed due to double booking. Not cooperative in finding an alternative at all. It is very difficult to find an alternative in Valentia Island at the last moment in July (I found none available at all). We offered that we are paid €30 as compensation and then we forget the problem. We will just have to change our vacation planning, too bad for us, but what can we do. However, this is not good enough for them! According to them, I have to find an alternative, and send in the invoice after my stay, without even a promise that they will reimburse the difference. Very unprofessional and dishonest!"
"I booked the hotel on 6 June for a night on 30 July and received email confirmation on the same day. On 28 June, the hotel send me an email telling me that they are fully booked during the weekend of 30 July and have to cancel the booking. Since the location is very popular during summer, it is very difficult to find an alternative. I have to increase my budget and accept a less favorable location. I therefore told the hotel that I think they should compensate for the price difference, since it is a mistake on their side. The hotel did not even bother to reply so far, after a week!"
