"Ordered 1st December, received email to say small delay so I waited patiently. After a number of weeks passed I had to chase. In the end I gave up and requested a refund which was passed to the accounts department on 28th Feb. Chases refund on 15th and 28th March and have been completely ignored and it is now 1st April. So glad I’ve only been scammed out of £25! I’m guessing the Chemical hut obviously the money more than my small business!!!!"

"I shopped at Chemical Hut before and all was OK. But this time...huge disappointment. Order placed on 8th January still not fulfilled (today is 16/02). No updates whatsoever. Two weeks ago (beginning of Feb) I called them to ask what was going on and was informed only then that part of my order was not available yet! If I had not called, I would not have learnt that. In the meantime I ran out of kindling, so they offered to ship it separately. It is now over two weeks later and all of a sudden someone woke up and send me an email "update" that part of my order has been shipped (the kindling). Wakey, wakey - I got it two weeks ago! The question remains where the rest of my order is and when I would get it. I am not being updated at all. I have actually emailed them to cancel and request a refund - and even this goes unnoticed by the Chemical Hut team."

"My products weren’t despatched after 4 days despite what their website says, this meant I couldn’t use them anymore and had to source elsewhere. Requested cancellation and refund and they agreed 4 days later. One month on, no refund. Emailed and asked for the money again, they said they’d sort the refund. Still no refund. Been 5 weeks now. Not sure if this website isn’t just an outright scam. I have started a Visa Chargeback on them via my bank to claw my money back."

"Good quality products however long wait for order to arrive. Chased twice and each time given a different reason why the order was delayed. What bothers me is this is the 2nd order I've placed with no customer service follow up to update the customer of delays. I've ordered many times but the last few times have been disappointing. Got the product in the end but with various delays."

"I ordered some chemicals on the 5th of November, waited 4 days with nothing arriving so I rang them to be told that my chemicals were out if stock, apparently they were going to contact me to tell me that day. So I asked for a refund as I'd have to go elsewhere to get them, it's been 6 days with no refund. I also rang up to follow up as I hadn't received my refund, to be told I'll be contacted that day or the day after. That was 3 days ago. And companies wonder why we go to amazon. I'd certainly not recommend this company and won't be using again once I finally get my money back!"
