"Such a beautiful place. A great place for walking, no chance of getting bored as every stretch was different. You climbed up hills and only had sheep as company, you walked along the stream where the only sound was that of the water and a short walk along a short stretch of road. Such a picturesque, tranquil place. The 3 shires head was beautiful and many families dipped their feet into the water. The walk takes between 2 and a half to three hours and is a must."
"Good length of walk from Grad Bach car park, under an hour each way. There's a loop so you can have a different walk back after your paddle. Definitely get a paper map or save the route to your phone, there's no signal. It was busy so I managed to follow the people in the distance. One route is on tarmac part of the way, the other is through fields with friendly cattle and sheep."
"Brilliant spot with lovely waterfalls and pools to swim in. Nice surroundings to relax and have a picnic. Short walk (1mile) from the layby on the main road so easily accessible, slight climb on the way back."
"Truth be told, I’d avoid going here ever again. Wasn’t worth the horrendous walk. Hardly anything to see, just a small steam with a tiny water fall, was very crowded with many people and dogs. Not worth the hype. But if you really want to go, then keep in mind the following: Parking is available over a mile from the site. Allow 30 mins walking time after parking. Half of the path to the site is paved. Other half is rough ground. The last few hundred meters is very rocky. DO NOT TAKE ANYTHING WITH WHEELS. No wheelchairs, buggies, bike, scooters etc. Avoid bringing very young children. Wear comfortable footwear. No toilets."
"Beautiful walk. Nightmare to park. As I parked about an extra 20 minutes away from the start, instead of a 4 mile walk, it was a 6 mile walk. But, luckily it included passing some beautiful Alpacas. The normal route is reasonable to walk, but not suitable for pushchairs. It's a beautiful walk and well worth doing. Nb. No toilets, or cafe. We parked here: 53.1943516, -1.9819697"
