"A great place to get away from the rat race for a couple of hours, Easily accessable for all, There is a pay and display car park although the last couple of times i've been the machines have not been working, Parking for Blue badge holders is free. Theres a nice little cafe serving hot and cold food and drinks at reasonable prices, The toilet block is always clean. Parts of the walk around the reservoir can get a little muddy in wet weather but most paths are easy to negotiate and are flat, There is plenty of wild life to look out for , There is also a play park for the younger family members. This place is a real hidden gem ."
"Easily found off of the main road with large brown signs. The car park cost is £2.20 all day. No other options for cheaper payment, it's a flat rate. Also the car park is cash only !!!! A bit weird, and very old fashioned, but make sure you have the correct change. There is a path all the way around. This path is easy walking, and would be OK for buggies and bikes going SLOWLY. Dogs allowed, and allowed off lead. A few fields and meadows just off of the main path if you wish to venture off for a walk or picnic. There is a cafe available, and some toilets. If you wish to visit these turn left from the car park on the main path. Turning right you can follow the path all the way around but the cafe will be at the end of the walk. The signs for the circular walk are easy to follow around the lake. It took us around 55 minutes to walk all the way around. Small children's play area by the car park. The lake is currently very low due to the hot summer. ( Sept 2022 ). A great place to visit, and not too busy either. ( pictures taken on a Sunday afternoon )"
"Beautiful and clean place for an afternoon walk or bicycle ride. Toilets are available plus coffee shop with sandwiches and drinks and there is plenty of parking for £2.20 for the whole day. Highly recommended."
"The park is really nice, a good circular walk around its limits as well as decent toilets and cafe. Plenty of car parking. It's £2.20 to park for the day and you can't pay with card. Lovell's Bay is a short walk from the car park and perfect spot to feed ducks and swans. Very large and well stocked children's play area adjacent to the car park too."
"The park is very beautiful. Many mute swan and birds you can watch. Remember to bring the seeds or nuts for them, they will fall in love with you. The play area is fully satisfying kids and teens. Tuck shop’s ice cream is yummy. Caution: bing £2 coins for parking"
