"I can't leave no stars but don't use this place for repairs. Took my gold chain for repair as it had broken halfway down. It was the first time in 30 years it had broken. They weighed it and said would call when back. They didn't call so I went in. The chain was back but it didn't look like mine and had a completely different and unattractive clasp on. There was nothing wrong with the original one and the break was nowhere near the clasp. The clasp didn't fit the pendant and the chain broke again trying to get the pendant on. After much discussion (including them saying it weighed the same so must be mine / am I sure the pendant was on the chain when I brought it in etc) they suggested I might like to sell it to them at scrap value and put it towards a more expensive one?!! I misguidedly agreed finally to a further repair. What came back (after three weeks waiting and no phone call) was a chain with yet another new clasp (apparently the repairer is known to replace them even though I didn't give permission) was a very very shoddy repair. I took it home but it lasted only ten minutes and is in pieces. This was a gift from my late husband and is ruined!!! Absolutely disgusting. They may know what they sell but whoever does their repairs is a disgrace."
