"I park near the old pub and walk gaining access by the old bridge. Bits of the old railway remain however this is a very peaceful walk. Well worth a leg stretch with your 4 legged friend."
"Pretend to be an old train and make chuff chuff noises jumping from sleeper to sleeper. That's what I used to do as a kid when walking here with my grandma 500 years ago. Not gonna lie. I still do it. Lovely walking area close to home to walk out the cobwebs and get close to nature. Can easily extend your walk into the fields and wilds around Finedon."
"Great place for walk whatever time of year very peaceful , from here you walk all the way to callybank s"
"Fabulous little pocket park with tree-lined walk. Great place to walk your dog too. The whole circuit is just over 2 miles but plenty of places to stop and turn back if that's too much for you. Unfortunately only 4 stars because not all dog owners are picking up their dogs poo!"
"Nice walk through some of Finedon's history. Previous reviews have labelled the railway as 'abandoned' but there are only concrete sleepers left and these are in the public areas. Lovely walk. In order to get to the Finedon Green or the Banks Park you need to come out at the Dolben Cricket Club or the St Mary's Avenue entrance and take a small walk to the desired locations. Lovely, well maintained local park"
