"I am blown away by the amazing customer service I have received from the ladies at Ernest Jones this week. I had a query on an order that was picked up by Penny. When I thought perhaps there was nothing she could do to help, she asked me to leave it with her whilst she did a bit of work on it. Next thing I know, my query was resolved and my item is on its way. Penny really went above and beyond to make this happen for me and I am so grateful. This was then followed up by a tracking number and receipt emailed to me by Ellen who kept me in the loop on when my item is likely to arrive. Both Penny and Ellen have just been brilliant and so kind, and I am so grateful! Thank you!"
"Friendly staff and well informed especially Lauren couldn't have helped more"
"Bought watch a few months before Christmas as a present but clasp did not work so took back today and was treated like a criminal by the manager who said at least a dozen times she wanted proof of purchase, it was bought from this branch but due to her rudeness we will not go back"
"I had a really bad experience at Ernest Jones in Chichester today when I took an Omega watch in for repairs. The shop just needed to send the watch to Omega as the watch is within its warranty period but the Manager 'Fern' was totally obstructive and rude. A week earlier I had called into the store and whilst looking at some items I had asked about having my Rolex watchband made slightly the smaller. The person I spoke to at that time could not have been more helpful, she explained that they were not able to work on Rolex watches, but told me where the nearest Rolex dealer was. As she had been so helpful, and because I saw they were Omega dealers and knew that my son needed to send his watch back to Omega for a repair, I asked her if Ernest Jones was able to do this and she said that of course they could and to just bring in the Warranty certificate with the watch and that it would be their pleasure to help. So today I collected the watch and drove into Chichester. On arrival at Ernest Jones a woman was sitting behind the first counter (The Tag Heuer counter). She did not look up when I went in and generally seemed to not want to be interrupted but I could not see anyone else so I asked if she would help me. All of the documentation was with the watch and the first thing she said was that I should take it back to 'Watches of Switzerland' in Central London where it had been purchased from. I know that this is nonsense and that you can take a watch to another Omega dealer. She was very disparaging about Omega saying that they were very difficult and it would take 'ages' to get the watch back and that it would be much better for Watches of Switzerland to deal with it. I asked if I could speak to the Manager and she said that she is the Manager! She then shouted across the shop to a young woman Assistant who had just walked in and asked her if she thought that she was being difficult. The poor woman did not know what to say and just said that she had only just arrived and didn't hear. The Manager was totally unprofessional and embarrassing. I thought that the Manager was taking the watch to the back office as she just walked off (with the watch). Having waited the other Assistant called to me and said that she would help me, seemingly the Manager had 'delegated' the issue to her! The other Assistant got the watch and paperwork, she was pleasant and reasonable and confirmed that the watch was clearly under warranty but by that time I decided that I would indeed take the watch back to Watches of Switzerland! Truly terrible service from the 'Manager' and an embarrassment to both brands: Ernest Jones and Omega."
"Ordered and paid for a watch online. Told me the pick up would be by 31st, only after paying did that change to the 6th. Not happy, could have and would have gone elsewhere for the watch. Honesty helps Ernest Jones!"
