"In April we booked a family trip to see the F1 at silverstone next July. The original cost was just over £2600. We have paid just over £1500 so far. Received an email yesterday saying they were putting the cost of the trip up to £3500, an increase of around 30%! As a result we have cancelled the trip. Had to email and then phone the store twice to try and find out what was happening with the £1500 we have paid, as nobody could be bothered to contact us. Got told we will get it back “in about a fortnight” so I asked for written confirmation that we will be receiving a full refund and was told no. We won’t ever use Hays travel again"
