"Wonderful location with stunning views. We stayed for a night during December and given the fact that no bedding is provided, we expected that the pod will be warm enough on arrival, it was advertised as " toasty". Upon arrival two tiny radiators were already working and the pod was nowhere near toasty, it was not even 18 degrees inside. The owner was kind to show us the shack were we could gather, unfortunately the lights didn't work and there was no firewood for the little stove. He said that we can go back down to the village to buy some. I think it would be a good idea if visitors could purchase firewood and not being send 10 km back and forth on icy country lanes for firewood.. When we finally got the wood and started the fire, it never really got warm. As we discovered, there was an inch wide opening gaping between the wall and the door.. As we gathering in this shack to celebrate, we thought we can use internet to play music but there was no WiFi coverage, nor mobile coverage.. As there was a world cup football match being played that evening, we asked if we could watch the game in the house below, to which we were replied that we couldn't. I must say that the two radiators in the pod we slept, eventually at about 1 am sufficiently heated up the pod. All in all, it's probably a great place to stay but not in winter."
"Ian, Jennifer and the team were exceptional for our work team building event. Excellent customer service in a great location, I'd recommend east coast adventures to anyone planning team building or just a weekend away, the lodge is stunning!"
"The accommodation should be five star! So comfortable and relaxing. Best sleep I’ve had in a long time. Staff so friendly too! Would highly recommend."
"Had an absolutely fabulous time in East Coast Adventure Centre, as always. The staff are so welcoming and helpful and it really felt like home away from home! We had the flexibility to do a range of activities to suit our groups needs and everyone was so accommodating! We will be talking about this trip non stop until we go again!"
"We have just left this beautiful hostel after a 5 night stay as a family. I have nothing but praise for the place and the staff. The rooms have been refurbished and the new beds are so comfortable. The bathroom is great and cleaned every day and new, fluffy towels provided if needed. The communal kitchen is a great space and really well equipped. Jennifer and Ian were amazing hosts, taking the time to help us plan days out and advise on places to eat, and even give advice for the rest of our holiday. Finally I would highly recommend the water sports and summer school. We braved the pier jump (terrifying!) and had a great time canooing and on the banana boat. All in all a great place to stay."
