"Terrible company. Was offered employment, gave me a start date after 4 weeks, left my stable job and then received an email 24th (start on the 27th) saying that the contract has been retracted because my references haven't come back? 1. Why wasn't I made aware? I would of resolved it. (Even thought I know for a fact they was sent back). 2. Why have I been informed now that this is a common thing spa medica does? It's happened before to mutual friends. 3. Please as a company source third party training on how to be better people, how to run a business and not to mess with people's lives and finances. Absolutely shocking. Just wasted the NHS money on an enhanced DBS and a weeks wages for nothing. Sad part is a large majority of my family work in the NHS and I really was looking forward to the position. Guess I doged a bullet though."
