"Last off the ferry yet again even though we had 2 dogs in the car. The foor passenger bus came on the ferry and blocked our lane. Over an hour to get off the ferry and through security. They should either have somewhere you could walk your dog even just for a quick toilet stop, or let cars with dogs off first."
"Brittany are definitely working at improving the disembarkation experience. We were held on the boat longer but had less queue than previous occasions to clear immigration. The immigration officials are polite, friendly, attentive, do a great job and welcome you home."
"A modern ferry terminal with sailings to France with Brittany Ferries and the Channel Islands with Condor. On arrival, I went into the terminal building, which was incredibly busy with foot passengers. Having time to spare, I had a coffee in the upstairs lounge, which had views out onto the linkspans and to the ships. There is a lot of development around the area, with a new cruise liner terminal being built. The whole terminal was clean, and even the toilets were spotless. And as it was approaching Christmas, there was a real buzz in the air. For embarking, the staff were very efficient, and all of the necessary security checks were done in a polite way. Overall, the port was well run and made the business of boarding fairly relaxing. There is a large car park to the south of the terminal, where you can leave your car while awaiting your sailing. Access to the terminal is easy. Being situated alongside the M275, just follow the signs from Junction 2."
"Check in was quick and simple. It is long walk from the cars to terminal if you want a drink. This I found difficult as I am disabled and travel on my own. Also I could not find a suitable place to walk my dogs before boarding. Also boarding took for ages the longest ever I have ever experience and we were not told there was a problem or not"
"Well sign posted. Efficient staff make it clear where they need you didn't have to wait long for booking in and the young lady was cheery and welcoming.easy to embark. Would have liked clearer signage for the toilets while waiting to embark but found eventually."
