"I will not use again, i waited months for delivery, and they sent my wardrobe fully built, how on earth do they expect me to get that upstairs in my bedroom!!!! I had to take it apart with great difficulty, resulting in damaging the wardrobe as it is not built to be taken apart. My chest of draws is faulty and when you pull out one of the draws it collapses. For the price we paid I expected better. I wish i used elsewhere however the product do look very nice and are well built…."
"What ever you do make sure you read the reviews on the Facebook page "my oak furniture land experience" before you buy anything here and if you do make sure you use a credit card or their finance. Try ringing the customer service number too it can take up to 2 hours to get through. Buyer beware!! My mother waited 3 months for her bedroom furniture and the picture shows what was delivered...useless! No side panel, no back, no top plinth, no handles and no hanging rail so it's impossible to store any clothes in it"
"My parents ordered an oak coffee table, cabinet and tv cabinet from here. The coffee table was delivered with a couple of marks and damage and they reported it straight away. The customer services has been disgusting. My parents have sent in photos and sat on hold on the phone for over an hour on a couple of occasions and nobody answers. They finally had an email saying someone would be in touch in 24-48 hours after my Mum emailed to complain and they’re still waiting 4 days later. They take your money before delivery and then don’t care and don’t have the decency to call back or respond to complaints. My parents don’t need this stress trying to get what they’ve paid for."
"I don’t even know where to start with this review, the customer service for this company is appallingly atrocious. It is beyond measurable how frustrating it has been dealing with this company. Seriously do not use this company as the customer service is an absolute joke. We first ordered our sofa in August 2021 and we’re told it would be delivered December 2021. Sofa was delivered to our billing address even though we stated the delivery address was different. They we able to divert and still deliver the same day however, 2 parts to the sofa were a different colour. We emailed customer service and didn’t receive any form of response, also rang them straight away, (I say straight away it was a 45 minute phone call on hold waiting) explain what had happened and were told that someone would ring us back, which they did not. A week later as we’d still not heard anything we went into the store where we purchased the sofa from (Oak furniture land Hull) and spoke to Kevin the store manager who was really apologetic and informed us that a new order had already been processed to be delivered in April 22 We had had no communication what so ever about any new delivery date prior to speaking with Kevin, to which I think he could sense our frustrations and advised that we need to speak with customer services on the phone and that we should ask for some compensation. We managed to get through to them on the phone (another 45 minute phone call on hold waiting) was told an earlier date Jan 22 would be the new delivery date, I confirmed with them again the correct delivery address and the customer service agent confirmed this address. Again the delivery was then delivered to the wrong address but this time they couldn’t divert to the correct address. Another really frustrating phone call to customer services to which they had the wrong address on their system. I told them this was wrong for the 3rd time and told them our correct address again. I also said that we want compensating for the wrong delivery twice and also the 2 days off work we had to take. Which we managed eventually to get 5% plus delivery fee off, great thank you. 2 weeks wait and still no refund/compensation. Delivery day comes and another day off work to wait for them to pick up the 2 wrong colour parts and exchange for correct colour. I KID YOU NOT THEY WENT TO THE WRONG ADDRESS AGAIN. By this point We we’re quite vexed about the situation and one very very angry phone call later they were able to divert and deliver on the same day. Hallelujah we have a full correct colour sofa…. Wrong go to unwrap it and 1 part of the NEW correct colour was damaged. Same spiel as before, email and phone call only this time we had to wait 1 HOUR 30 MINUTES just to speak to someone. Told someone will come to check and see if they can repair it if not will replace the sofa. This is a long winded review but it has been so frustrating. At the time of writing this it has been 6 months since we initially ordered the sofa and still do not have the full set and it has been 4 weeks since the initial refund/compensation and we are still yet to receive it. Overall the whole experience has been absolutely shocking, and would highly recommend NOT using this company as it is not worth the hassle. If I could give it a 0 star I would."
