"Another lovely stay at Adhurst yurts. We returned for a weekend visit after staying here approx. 7 years ago when our two boys were younger; we loved it then and loved it even more the second visit. We visited with another family and treated our teenage sons to their own yurt so we didn't get under one another's feet - not that this is a problem as the yurts are adequately sized for 4 people (especially Redwood and Birch which are bigger sized than the yurt we were in - Chestnut). The yurts are spread far enough for privacy but also near enough that it's easy to commune and eat together. Also, the owners were very welcoming and helpful, allowing us to move the firepits if we wanted to so we could have a communal area for sitting round the same camp fire, and loaning us a cool box when we left ours at home. The yurts / outdoor kitchens are more than adequately equipped allowing you to pack light (a relief when you've had to pack heavily for other camping trips and need everything bar the kitchen sink!). We loved the addition of the private outdoor shower for Chestnut yurt and the hammock near to us was another fab extra. The woodlands are great for exploring and we recommend the swing rope down by the river if you're feeling adventurous! Thank you Alison and Guy for all the thought you have put into making your campsite very special and unique."
"The most amazing weekend! We stayed in Coppicer’s Cabin which was idyllic, secluded and kitted out with everything you needed to have, simultaneously, an authentically “stripped-back” stay with nature but also enjoy the luxury of a gorgeous double bed, cozy log fires and all the appliances you need. We cooked a tomahawk steak on the fire one evening, and breakfast each day with the gas cooker provided. Could not recommend enough. On top of all, a very reachable distance from London, as well as woodland galore with stunning scenery and fantastic pubs a walkable distance away. 10/10!"
"Adhurst Yurt stay was incredible. The set up is amazing, running water & gas. We stayed in the yurt that has the bath and it was the icing on the cake. The setting is beautiful & it’s so quiet and tranquil. After a few years of no holiday thanks to Covid it was THE break away that was needed. The host couldn’t be more helpful and lovely. Utterly fantastic from start to finish."
"My partner and I stayed in Badger for 2 nights in early June and had an amazing time! The owner was very helpful and welcoming, and the yurt was clean, cozy, and beautiful! The self catered kitchen has everything we needed (and more!) It did rain throughout our stay but that didn’t dampen our experience, we still enjoyed long walks in the forest, cooking over the fire, and a trip to the local pub. We felt very connected to nature and left feeling recharged and refreshed. We would come back in a heartbeat, and only wish we stayed longer!"
"Have just returned from a wonderful 3 night stay in Chestnut Yurt and we are already planning our next stay! The yurt and safari kitchen had everything we needed and we had a warm outside shower and very clean privy. The location is amazing and we felt completely lost in nature, very private and perfect for young children to explore! Evenings around the campfire and morning birdsong was just what we needed to escape city life. Alison was very welcoming and couldn’t have been more helpful. Lots of lovely places to bike ride and walk in the local area. We loved it from the moment we saw it. Thank you for a wonderful experience xx"
