"We had a company conference here - I didn't choose the venue, but this was a really good choice! Our conference supervisor, David, gave us great customer service! He was very attentive and thorough when it came to the day's itinerary. He was very helpful when it came to setting up the room's projector! Lunch was a highlight of the day. We all agreed that in the future, we'd book our conferences here as it was a very pleasant experience! 5/5!"
"I spend more than 30 nights here due to a work trip and the staff are fantastic. Jess on reception helped me to find a room for an additional night q couple of times. Linda at breakfast always asked how the previous day was and ensured breakfast was going well. Cornelia and Anne Marie at the dinner service were friendly and efficient even when fully booked. Can't recommend this hotel more highly purely based on the staff named above."
"Our one night stay was great. The three course meal I had was lovely though other people did not rate the choice they had chosen. The bed was comfortable apart from the pillows which were very hard and gave my friend and I neck pain. The breakfast was good and there was a good choice although the black pudding was hard. Our breakfast host Nickie was polite and courteous."
"Just returned from 1 night stay as family of 3. We were impressed at first glance as reception area, very nice and reception staff very friendly. Our room 201 was very big and bathroom was amazing- but for the size did lack a bath! The room was clean however it could have done with some accessories to add a touch of colour and class. The photos for hotel show throws and cushions. The reality was plain white walls and bedding. The bed was broken at bottom (missing drawer) and was too small for headboard (couldn't reach side tables) no lamps, so big lights had to remain on and shower flooded floor in bathroom. The swimming pool was a good bonus but could have done with some updating. We were lucky to see the squirrels playing around the garden and the swing was fun, unfortunately the caravan bar remained closed outside even though it was a nice night??? We didnt eat in restaurant as we felt it was overpriced, £16 burger or pizza excessive. Plenty places to drive to within 4 mile. Breakfast was underwhelming buffet style, bit dry! Pastries were nice. I wouldn't rush back but I would stay again if in the area."
