"We've just had 3 nights at this site. Not a bad little site, good size pitches and nice shower and laundry block. The staff were really nice. There's no dog walk on site although the beach is just across the road. Stonehaven is a fantastic little town. The site itself is like a car park. Very flat and nothing to see."
"This park has excellent facilities which are spotless, the grounds are well kept. We have visited now on two occasions with different wardens managing, very welcoming and pleasant to deal with both times. Location is great for a relaxing holiday, lots of things to see and do if your an outside person. Will certainly book again in the future....."
"Bit disappointing when 1st. arrived; campsite bit like a car park. HOWEVER, Maureen & Ian are extremely helpful & thoughtful, pointed out dog friendly eateries & warned of evening fireworks. Grounds & facilities very well maintained. Ideal base for other adventures❣️"
"Great campsite, we stayed 2 nights in November and the lady who we spoke to in reception was lovely. The sight is right beside the pebbled beach and has a short walk into Stonehaven. A good area for site seeing, we walked from campsite to the spectacular Dunnottar Castle which was much quieter as out of season, the food stall In the car park is still open for food and drinks plus toilets too. A 2 minute walk from campsite there is The Bay fish and chip shop also Mollys Cafe Bar which is where we ate, great food and last but not least Aunt Bettys for ice cream. There are plenty choices for food in Stonehaven. The campsite is clean and well looked after, the toilet block has disabled access, toilet reasonably warm inside A small play area for young children I will definitely go back"
"We loved our stay here. It's standard fare in terms of hardstanding, space and facilities really. But on that note there are plenty of facilities and they are clean and well maintained and the site looks nice. We also had a very friendly welcome with some useful maps handed to us. The site is located at the end of the town adjacent to the beach and next to the pool which sadly (for us) was closed. We enjoyed the town immensely and made good use of what it has to offer. We loved the walk along to the harbour with the sea sculptures and boardwalk area. We also had a walk up to Dunnottar Castle taking in the war memorial on route. We also had fish and chips in the Bay, an ice cream at Aunt Betty's and a deep fried Mars bar at the Carron (had to be tried and never again). We spent an enjoyable few days here and this site was perfect.."
