"Just returned from a fabulous stay for sister's surprise 50th! We had an amazing time. All the staff were absolutely outstanding and went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly and we enjoyed our stay. Some of the rooms were a little tired but just added to the character. The food was also exceptional. Thoroughly recommend a stay here"
"Great place to go at the weekend for afternoon tea or just for a quiet drink in the evening. They also do lunch/dinner, but could have a better selection for Sunday lunch. I had steak, but it was over cooked, otherwise it would have been a great meal."
"Mackintosh wedding We held our Wedding at Flitwick Manor and all I can say is the team were outstanding. We were able to rent the whole hotel for the occasion and nothing was too much trouble. We picked from an amazing menu of food for the day, the buffet in the evening was outstanding and the team were pleasant, helpful and friendly throughout the entire day. We could even add our own touches to the menus and buffets, and food allergies were also catered for. The rooms were beautifully clean and cosy with an amazing ambience and comfortable beds. Everything is in keeping with the period the house was built in, and just added to the excitement of our special day. Having everyone come to breakfast the next day was great as well, there was more than enough food for everybody, and it extended the celebration. It also meant that everyone who had travelled far, could stay overnight without worrying where to stay."
"Lovely staff and great food. Especially Breakfast, top class. However the room furniture is old and tired and the carpets could do with changing. My room (12) was on the top floor and the shower was a trickle and wouldve took an hourvto run a bath, due to the pressure I would say. But the bed was comfy and spotless, and the location and charm made up for the shortfalls."
