"I recently visited Akasha for the Blissful Mind Shirodhara treatment and it was a surreal experience. I have never had a treatment like it. My head has been cleared and my mind is calmer. The warm stream of oil on my forehead felt so soothing and the only way I can describe the feeling is by comparing it to getting my hair washed at the hair salon but very slowly and carefully. During the treatment, the warm oil is poured in different rhythmical motions across the forehead and flows into the hair, putting you in a physically and mentally relaxed, trance-like state. This is followed by a soothing scalp massage to bring you back into the room. I would recommend this treatment to anyone suffering from lack of sleep, migraines or anxiety."
