"I arranged a demo appointment back in may last year,to listen to a rega planer 6 / aria , and an audiolab 6000 c.d. transport along with an audiolab dac, and kef floorstander speakers.The audition was very sucessful,and i puchased all but the speakers,which were very good,but i preferred the wharfdale evo 4.3's which were aesthetically better looking {not stocked by audio t}.I've just had a problem with the rega mc phonamp,and they kindly put it on test,but found nothing wrong.I've now traced the fault to an interconnect lead{not purchased here}, and every thing is singing again.I cant thank the team at audio t in portsmouth enough for all their help and kindness,and would whole heartingly recomend them to every one.Thanks."

"This morning I emailed to check if the CD player I wanted was physically in stock. I was told an ex-display model was available and did I want it. I replied yes please I'll come and collect shortly. I was at the shop within an hour of my enquiry, and the young lad who greeted me knew nothing. I was waiting for over ten minutes for a salesman, who told me it had been sold. All within one hour of my confirmation?! Very disappointed in this experience."

"Called to ensure the product I wanted was in stock. Was assured it was in "brand new and boxed" condition as I required. One hours drive later I rang the bell to be allowed into the store where I was shown a 6 month old version of what I wanted and told I could order a new one as the one on display was not at the end of its demonstration rotation. Being charitable, perhaps the assistant I spoke to prior to my visit misunderstood the meaning of "in stock and ready to collect". But still a wasted journey, and very frustrating having wasted 2 hours of my Saturday. Edit: Having received an apology and an explanation for the mistakes made by a new staff member I have revised my "star" rating to 3 rather than 1 out of five. As a long-standing customer of Audio-T this was the first time they'd disappointed me, and following contact from them I'm sure the issues I had will be remedied."

"Shopping at the Portsmouth store on & off from the time it was Jeffrey's Hifi... Audio T Portsmouth arranged a Saturday home demonstrate of a turntable, which I appreciated very much... The staff are always helpful & for the most part knowledgeable... The staff member delivered the turntable as agreed... He 'fine tuned' it as 3 or 4 records are played... After a couple of hours, the Audio T staff member, said he could leave it with me over the weekend, until Tuesday... Being glad to hear that, as it wasn't the best sounding experience & short of the acclaimed status... Being uncertain whether to making the purchase... On Sunday morning having reviewed the manufacturer website on the Arm/Cartridge setting up... I set about this from start to finish, of the manufacturer set up process... Going through this, it suggested the record deck wasn't performing that well, & the staff member lacked the setting up knowledge of turntables... This is the reason why Audio T Portsmouth has only 4 Star review from myself... After following the manufacturers instructions... Wow what a difference, the sound stage had focus, the music come alive... Such was the improvement on the Tuesday I purchased a new unopened boxed turntable from Audio T Portsmouth... One last thing, my new record deck is even better than the demo turntable... Now it's has played some 60/70 LPs it's brilliant, worthy of its acclaimed status..."
