"I called in today to show a chair that had broken which l had purchased a few years ago. I spoke to a girl who sympathised with my problem and said that Mr McCourt would deal with it and even suggested that he would lend me a chair until the problem was resolved. However when Mr McCourt came in the situation changed. He implied that l had done something sinister with the chair rather than sit on it - not sure what! The chair was in pristine condition apart from the obvious crack in the frame. He then told me that his furniture was only guaranteed for a year - l personally thought a chair would last longer than that! He then said that if l had bought a car 2 years ago and crashed it that l could hardly go back and ask the seller for a refund. I felt that this was a ridiculous comparison. I have never been dealt with in such a condescending manner by a business person. There is a way of dealing with customers in a sympathetic manner and Mr Mc Court seriously lacks in this skill I would not recommend anyone to buy anything from this shop. I just wish that l could include a photo of my chair in this post chair would last longer than that."
