"I took my car in for an initial, basic service and MOT. I am pretty much a DIY mechanic myself and I was fully conversant with the mechanical status of my vehicle. Therefore I was rather shocked to hear from them that they had found a problem with my front suspension and that I needed two new rear tyre (which were only around six months old). My bill was quite high, more than £500. When I went to pick my car up they showed my the parts off the car. I couldn’t identify the parts were indeed off my vehicle, but nevertheless I just couldn’t be bothered to contend with all the potential drama etc. I paid the large bill and simply put it all down to experience. In the final analysis this garage are not as honest as they make out."
