"Most amazing dog friendly beach - good parking and some facilities. Must get your parking ticket before arrival from Just Parks App. Great day out with a picnic or you can use the cafe. School holidays and Summer have high usage. The dog friendly area is East Head."
"Amazing area of outstanding natural beauty. Lovely for walks or just a wander."
"This is our first time here and certainly won't be our last. After the initial shock of the fee for car parking (All day ticket whether that it is what you want or not)once we got onto the beach and away from the crowds, we were blown away by the beauty there. The sand is the finest sand we think we have ever seen in the UK. This is an ideal place to spend the day at, weather permitting. Take your BBQ or picnic bits...or there are some options like a food and drinks van...but be prepared to queue. Although we took our dogs, we were bitterly disappointed by seeing another dog owner letting their dog poo right near the sea and walk away and not even pick it up. Some people are just clueless. When entering the beach, turn right for the dog free area or left if you have dogs. We will certainly be back for a longer day and get a proper use out of the expensive car parking fee."
"It’s a lovely place for a dog walk and on this bright but chilly Sunday it seemed to be dog heaven! Not sure if this is a usual thing as it was my first time visiting. It was wonderful to go to this end of the beach and be surrounded by loads of dogs. There are dunes, a sandy beach, a pebble beach and a path by the marsh. I really enjoyed the day but had to knock off a star for the price, it’s £4 to park a car whether you’re coming for a 30 minute walk or spending the whole day and I just think it’s unnecessarily high. The amount of parking available is huge, they could easily have turned over £8,000 today with the amount of cars coming in and out. Lower your price so I can visit more regularly please! I am also a national trust member but the car park doesn’t do a national trust reduction which is a shame."
"A little nature reserve in the edge of west wittering beach. There are sand dunes with rare sand lizards and some salt marsh areas. There’s a walk around the perimeter with roped off areas to protect the delicate habitat. There’s also a board walk path through the middle. Lots of signs up saying no BBQs."
