Reviews
"Lidl has interesting range of products not available in any other supermarket chain. I wish Lidl had home delivery then I'll be their regular customer."
"Lidl without other shops nearby. Parking for few in afternoon to 50 places after 8 to 8.30pm. Trolleys in separate "shed" on the side road, pound coin release. Baskets to carry and wheel, mini trollies for kids inside. Shop a little cramped for wheelchair users, but manageable in quieter hours. . Some shelves, fridges and freezers inaccessible. Staff few, busy but helpful. Self service tills very cramped. Stock cheap and basic. Usual Lidl churn of "middle aisle" items. Boxes of mixed veg and fruit mid evening, I'm not sure of which days. Bread and pastries topped up with limited selection evening."
"Hi thank you for standing up for me staff and people that was there when the guy was being racist for me today anyway he smelling alcohol. I appreciate the support is not easy these days to be an immigrant in UK"
"I hardly ever go here but Google Maps has asked me to review it so I shall. It's in a really handy location for me as I live in Portsmouth and this shop is in Portsmouth too, result! The car park is cool. To the right of the trolley shelter there's a parking space that's bigger than all the others so if you have one of those four wheel drive cars that you definitely don't need in Portsmouth you can swing right in and park your stupidly massive car in there if it's free. Inside the shop there's all sorts of stuff to be honest,... meat, vegetables, pastry products, weiner schnitzel and all the usual things you can expect from a shop these days. But, they also have some surprises that you don't know you need. For example, I popped in once for a hazelnut croissant and came out with a pizza oven for the patio. I've also picked up a paper shredder, a paddle board, a pear tree and his & hers hooded bath robes. Pretty cool but if you're only popping in for a loaf of bread it can get a bit pricey. There's also loads of alcohol there too. They sell some really strong pear cider, you know like the type you see being drunk in graveyards or down the Rock Gardens in the summer. Dirt cheap too, happy days! The staff are really nice as well, they went out of their way to find me a bag big enough for my pizza oven, turns out they didn't have one but they didn't stop smiling whilst they were looking, lovely people. In summary, something for everyone. Highly recommended."
