Reviews
"Went to Newcastle for the day and called in here for lunch not for the first time and it never disappoints. We sat by the welcomed roaring fire. My wife had honey chilli chicken goujons and hand cut chips. I had the seafood chowder which was served with mash and was lovely. The service was great and very friendly. With the backdrop of the Mournes on a sunny day it couldn't have been better. For those who are interested it also has one of the ten Game of Thrones' doors."
"This was the best restaurant I have been in for some time. The 10oz ribeye steak was absolutely gorgeous, chargrilled to perfection. The staff were brilliant, attentive and so friendly. I recommend this restaurant 100% it is steeped in history and reasonably priced. Great to chill and have some amazing food. I will be back!!!!"
