"Went with friends on a Saturday evening. The restaurant is beautiful and welcoming. The food is absolutely fantastic. Really lovely menu both food and drinks. From wine to cocktails...Steak served on rocks to fish and pasta. Lovely comfortable chairs and a great atmosphere. Would highly recommend and will definitely be returning."

"A sad case of terrible service letting down pretty good food. My partner and I ate here last night and we sat down at our table, the first thing we was told by the waitress was ‘When your ready to be served press the button’ not can I get you a drink or would you like some water for the table or anything? A few minutes later we ‘pressed the button’ and waited, several minutes later our waitress came over and asked if we was ready to order. We ordered a main each and a nice bottle of wine, the food was served and that was the last we heard from anyone for the next 45-60 minutes, we didn’t get asked if the food was ok or if we was happy or even if we would like to order anything else. We didn’t even get asked if we would like to try the wine or have the offer of if we would like the first glass poured for us? We made the decision to leave dessert due to the service and whilst our empty plates sat on the table I pressed the button that suggested I was ready to pay the bill. At nearly £90 for a bottle of wine and a main course each we felt that it was incredibly expensive for the money that we paid, this was purely let down by the complete lack of customer service provided by the staff."

"What a lovely place to go and have a meal, especially for an anniversary. If you like fish and/or pasta meals, this is the place for you. I had lamb shoulder in a wine sauce with seasoned vegetables. Delicious. Just a shame my potatoes were boiled and not sauteed. I don't like and can't eat boiled potatoes, even though well cooked, and others are sure to enjoy. My wife had a crab, smoked salmon and prawn spaghetti. Delicious. A little surprised that we were not offered a reduction in the bill because of only being given 2/3 of my expected meal (it's the imposter boiled potatoes that were not sauteed bright out and plus I cannot eat them this way), even though I thoroughly enjoyed what I ate. Would definitely return. Staff lovely and friendly. Would definitely come back again."
