"the school has around 9 toilet facilities for pupils yet only allows them to use four of them between over 900 students. in one of the two girls facilities they have removed a door of the toilet and another has no toilet paper ever so there is only two working cubicles for them to use, in the other toilets for the girls they only allow two in at a time when there is four working cubicles. the boys only have on toilet which once again they only allow two in at a time and the other toilet facilities is for both genders of which always stink of wee and are not cleaned very well at all. they lock all the other toilets so you can hardly ever actually go to the toilet. they don’t let us go in lessons and you can’t even go at lunch because there are huge queues down the corridor so it’s just a waste of your time. they blame all of this on trying to prevent vaping but most of us literally just need the toilet."

"This school is honestly atrocious in its views of its attending children, while many of the teachers are honestly quite good at their jobs the 'senior leadership team' are certainly not. They simply refuse to listen to any of the complaints of the children under their care such as ignoring any wishes of a child to possibly change their courses during the GCSE period, they often completely ignore any signs of bullying except for obvious ones such as fights, wherein both parties are punished equally, then proceed to not attempt to limit the bullying further after the initial punishments. The Deputy Head teacher has some bizarre voyeuristic tendencies, liking to install cameras in any place he can possibly fit them, and has since proceeded to heavily restrict the areas that the students can wander to during their break and lunch times so that they are constantly under his view, despite this fights happen frequently anyway, never mind other things such as drug use. The students are also blocked from going inside during any break, even in the winter; this rule is excepted to allow them into the lecture theatre, though it is too small to contain them all with any comfort. Despite what I said about many of the teachers being quite good earlier, the general view of a surprising number of the teachers is that only a student’s grades actually matter, not their actual understanding of the subject, never mind their mental health, many teachers will also often not properly deal with, to punish or otherwise, disruptive elements in a class and are often willing to simply give up on the educations of these students. Giving a two star due to those truly exceptional teachers who really make a great effort to teach, however it would be a lie to say that they would not be better used at another, better school."
"Time wasting interview experience. I went for an interview here for a teaching role. I'm perfectly happy to accept when I'm not the right candidate for a role but my experience here was disgusting. From the moment I entered I sensed immideate apathy from the staff towards my presence. I was given a very short period of time to do an activity and was then told the process would end there with very weak feedback. This is unacceptable when you consider I had to take a day of work and travel a long distance when the school has obviously already chosen a candidate. Do not waste your time by going for interviews here, especially within the English department."
