"Very good home cooked food. Staff very pleasant service very quick Portion size very good Will be back"
"Well spaced tables. Very clean, staff quick to clear and sanitize them. Cooked food service slow, but worth the wait. Excellent value for money."
"Great cafe .. lovely home cooked food. The cottage pies are amazing .. The staff are exceptional..always there ready to help whatever you need."
"The kitchen was very quiet when we visited on a Sunday lunchtime in January. There was a limited menu on offer, but that was fine as we just wanted something light. I went for a toasted ham and cheese sandwich on brown bread. It came excellently presented with a pot of homemade coleslaw, which was so nice I ate it right out of the pot - and I don't even like coleslaw usually! Also a leafy green salad and crisps. The service wasn't the fastest, everything is cooked fresh, but the staff were friendly enough. The coffee was absolutely delicious! But I've knocked a couple of stars off because it was expensive. Also, considering it was quiet and fully staffed, it felt like a longish wait for the food."
"Loved this place, I highly recommend a visit. Hygiene rating 5 Star and you can see into the food prep area! Accessibility: good, very slight slope in through double doors, one usually left open. Disabled parking and toilets part of the Hornsea Freeport. Covid: clean, hand held and plenty of space, perspex partitions and masked staff. Restaurant: due to current restrictions (December 2020), the indoor restaurant seating area is closed off. However, Hornsea Freeport have a central outdoor seating area for eating in. Takeaway Menu - for either eating in the central outside food court area or to take home. Click and Collect: I believe the owners will put their menus up (might be clearer than my photo) and I'm sure you can phone in and collect an order. Beers, Guns and Wines: a selection from Yorkshire and I think elsewhere, vegans and gluten free available. Opening: 7 days a week, refer their Google listing for opening times Car Parks: Front - hard standing at the front of the Freeport with spaces for the Disabled, but further away. Back - car park has a designated area for the disabled and is the one nearest to one of the toilets for the disabled and is the nearest to Brewers Kitchen and Deli. The back main car park is a bit rough, but convenient for that end of Freeport. Dogs: Canines and their Owners welcome! Staff: excellent, knowledgeable and very friendly. Toilets: Part of the Freeport behind Brewers Kitchen, the entrance from the side."
