"Thank you for a beautiful Christmas lunch today for the Waterlooville Macular Support Group. Could not fault it in any way and the service was excellent and the staff were delightful and couldn't do enough for you. Definitely good value for money. Would highly recommend this Hotel for a Christmas lunch."
"This hotels has many pluses, my room was very spacious and was spotlessly clean, it had an excellent ensuite bathroom too. Decor wise, it's very generic, non-offensive, but with little flair or character. The staff were all very friendly, the WiFi was strong and the breakfast was very good indeed (apart from the bland coffee). On the not so positive side, I had forgotten my hotel slippers, upon arrival I asked whether they had a pair I could have and was told that it was something they once did and no longer do. I think that's an oversight for a hotel of this quality and something that can be easily addressed. Fine if they don't want to provide every room with these, but they should have some available for requests. I also found the room's television too small for the size of room and was lacking in sufficient sockets. But by far the worst aspect of the stay, as already mentioned in other reviews here, is that they charge £5 for overnight parking. For a hotel in this location, I find that unacceptable. I therefore decided I would park on nearby side roads for free as I refuse to be fleeced when already paying for the accommodation."
"We had a two night stay. The staff were very nice and helpful. The evening meal we had wasn't exceptional, and not much choice as for me there was only one main course I liked, which was pork served with chips, a mushroom and tomatoes, I didn't see a gravy option and the meat was very dry and a bit chewy. By biggest problem with this hotel is parking you have to pay an extra £5 per night. A bit harsh considering I've never come across a hotel that charges for parking, even the Hilton in Cobham doesn't. When I questioned the receptionist she said all the hotels she had worked in charge extra and if I didn't want to pay I could park elsewhere.!! Well this is day one."
"We stayed here for a 2 day mini break and had a wonderful time from the moment we arrived. All staff were friendly, helpful and very welcoming. The hotel was exceptionally clean, including the restaurant and our room. The evening meal and breakfast was outstanding, lots of choice and well presented. Compliments to all the chefs on duty. Our room was comfortable, clean, the bed was huge and comfy and also plenty of tea, coffee and biscuits were provided. Will definitely be returning."
