"food was 10/10, quickly served and super delicious. ramen was fantastic and a wide range of tasty starters. only issue was the staff was not attentive at all - did not get asked if everything was okay didn’t really get spoken to at all to be honest, and then was slapped with a service charge! dont get me wrong i will almost always tip, but if it isn’t deserve but slapped on the bill it grinds my gears. so requested this to be removed. but service aside as said food was amazing, and the place itself is gorgeous."
"Our 4th visit to sumo pan Asian on NYE, we expected a big delay and issues etc, would expect that anywhere on nye but they were brilliant as always. The food was gorgeous, always is, we have never been anywhere before that we genuinely want to try the whole menu like here and I'm sure eventually we will. Always a brilliant night here 10/10"
"Great atmosphere and very well decorated place with such a cool theme. The party I went with thoroughly enjoyed it and the staff are friendly and lovely. The service was quite quick although we went at a busy time so it was quick for the time we went at which was great, and most of the food came out at the same time which was perfect. Although the entrance was quite difficult to find at first but it was a lovely atmosphere."
"Food was fantastic and tasty, I have previously had takeaway from their place in Beverley which has always been fantastic. The venue at Hessle is great, however finding the door was a challenge, it could do with a sign to make it look less like a flats door. The choice of meals on the menu was huge and the quality of the salt and pepper squid started and Thai red curry was absolutely fantastic, so tasty and full of flavour. Unfortunately there was a delay before we got our mains with no explanation from staff and in general the fantastic food was let down by the service."
