"Friendly staff and really good food and drink selection!"
"Its a shame conscientious staff who are genuinely helpful good at their job & offer a polite service are undermined by both poor/rude leadership inshop... a couldn't careless attitude prevails from one person in particular who is old enough to know better & is definitely in need of specific training. Maybe if the staff were given a pay rise we would all be happier with the service offered / received & you will make more money by having more customers ...OR DONT YOU CARE ENOUGH to train customer service skills better... Mr Franchisee"
"Just went to pick up parcel. The cashier then started moaning that the parcel was to big and should never of been delivered. We explained that Amazon gave us the option to have it delivered, she just continued to moan. When we stood waiting for the parcel we offered to stand to one side, so she could carry on serving, but she just moaned that she would have to wait for the parcel, like it was are fault If you can't accommodate this service then end it and employ some staff that have some customer service skills. This is the second time we have had this rude lady serve us. You will not be shopping in your store. I would rather shop somewhere that appicates my customer."
"I went into the Welcome store yesterday to collect a parcel, only to be greeted by a rude member of staff. It was totally unnecessary to behave in the way that this lady did towards me as the customer!! I was polite, all I wanted was my parcel and to pay for my shopping. The rudeness started as soon as she found out I wanted to collect this parcel. I apparently had two parcels but even though the parcel had my name on it she refused to give it to me!! Then we had to play guess what’s in the parcel for her to hand it over. She shouldn’t be working there with her attitude, rudeness and behaviour towards customers. It’s not very ‘welcoming’ is it Welcome???!!!!!"
"Rude staff trained by poor management. I have personally encountered extreme rudeness from various members of staff at this store which, I can't quite work out, is it a CoOp or is it an independently owned shop using CoOp branding? Anyway this shop is listed as a Collect+ drop off for Yodel parcels on Parcel2Go. On the 6th of Jan we dropped 3 parcels off here and all 3 vanished without a trace! According to Yodel, they were never collected. So must have fallen through a wormhole whilst in the shop waiting for Yodel. Three parcels that were not that valuable and because I run a company that sends hundreds a week with various couriers, I simply wrote these off and got 3 refunds from Parcel2Go without claiming for loss etc i waited 8 days before claiming 3 refunds for failed collection so they were, undoubtedly lost. For a while, the rude staff at the Welcome have been a bit funny about taking Yodel parcels, even though nothing has been said about the 3 from the 6th that, mysteriously melted into thin air. Strange huh? So yesterday Mon 18th of Jan a valued member of my staff (Dez) printed 12 orders for Yodel via Parcel2go. I said "watch out, you will have to take them down the Welcome because that rude lot get funny with me". At about 5ish, I get a phone call from Dez telling me the Welcome has just point blank refused to take the parcels. "What do you mean?" I said. Dez explains "I went in there and the kid behind the counter saw the parcels and stood with his arms folded, he says, we can't take them. What do you mean, this is a collect+ listed on Yodel for dropping off parcels? The kid says I need to ring my boss, he gets on the phone and starts laughing and joking before coming back arms folded again, rudely stating no, we are not taking them. He mumbling something about 3 that went missing to Wales". I said "3? Wales?" right at that moment, I had forgotten about the 3 from the 6th Jan as explained above, the lost 3. It then dawned on me! They know something about the mystery 3. Funny tho, I never reported them lost or made a claim with Parcel2go, only applied for refund 8 days after they had been lost and I had made sure they were not tracked. This is a right dodgy shop run by dodgy people who have sneering staff who think they are community key-workers entitled to be rude to customers! It is ironic because my wife and I used to shop in there all the time during the pandemic, that was until the day I got told off by some jumped up 17 year old girl for leaving my trolley in the car park. When I said "Wasn't me", she said she had watched me on the CCTV! LMFAO the shopping trolley police spying on their customers? Wow! As you can imagine, my wife and I decide to spend our money elsewhere now. Also, from now on we take parcels to Best One in Hamilton Road. Bishopstoke stores which gets 5 stars from me. There the shop keeper is polite and truly Welcoming to all of his customers. The Welcome on Fair Oak Square? AVOID! No Stars if I could."
