"We all really enjoyed our stay and it was great to be back on the IoW after 40 years, having spent so much time there as a child/teenager. The cottage (Jamestown) was clean and well equipped, and everyone was very helpful and friendly."
"We had a very bad experience staying at the Richmond cottage in Wight Staycation. We booked an expensive cottage with 4 bed rooms, and were really looking forward to our vacation, but when we arrived, we discovered that one of the rooms was unusable due to wet carpet and strong smell of dump. Someone did come over and tried to help resolve the issue but the smell was too strong, the room was out of use the whole duration of our holiday, and our kids had to sleep on mattresses in our rooms. Wight staycation promised us compensation (since there was no other cottage available) - but since we left the house, they didn't answer any of our emails or calls. We had a very poor holiday experience and I don't recommend anyone to go there."
"Great holiday. Stayed in a Whitfield cottage at West Bay Cottages. It was clean with comfy beds and a great shower. We have stayed previously when the pool complex was open and that was a big plus. I see from other comments that a refurbishment is planned so hopefully that facility will be available again soon. I'd also like to say how wonderful Toni was with quick and helpful correspondence. She provided brilliant customer service which meant that we had a relaxing holiday. Many thanks Toni!"
"We had three cottages for a family reunion. Toni arranged for us to be close together in spite of booking late. I loved the open spaces for the children to run round and meet with other children. There was just the right balance between privacy and a friendly community. The three cottages were different from each other, but all clean and comfortable. When one cooker stopped working, the staff fixed it as soon as they were told about it. Only one wish - it would be great if the swimming pool could be opened again in the future."
