"Advised to take out an insurance policy with the bracelet! It's not a ringing endorsement of the quality of their jewelry. The bracelet had already broken after 2 days and been replaced - which to their credit they did without quibbling as a goodwill gesture - as they should although it was suggested the bracelet had got caught on something which it hadn't, it just fell apart. Clasp on replacement is SO stiff I couldn't undo it."
"Was met by a pleasant lady when arriving but a gentleman appeared from the back and promptly took over. Assumed he was the manager but it quickly became apparent he didn't know anything. A manager did appear shortly after and proceeded to shout directions across the shop and criticise his methods. They were incredibly persistent trying to obtain my contact details despite my clear reluctance. Had to refuse in the end. Offered to bring a ring in for me from another branch but I'd rather travel twice the distance than visit this branch again. Incredibly unprofessional and a clear example of what you don't want when trying to buy your wedding ring. Branch needs a clear review and changeover of staff. Will never visit again."
"Went in to ask about a replacement battery on my month old Tissot watch (purchased from a different Ernest Jones branch), was greeted by a smiley gentleman who said someone would be free in a moment to help. The man that came to help me was anything but, utterly rude and very unhelpful. He Decided that being sarcastic and condescending was the best way to talk to a customer. Absolutely would not recommend this branch to anyone I know, shame as the other one I went to actually treated me with decency. If you were the gentleman that served me on the 7th of January, maybe you should have a refresher in customer service :)"
