"Normally an ok shop apart from my previous visit on Friday 17th Feb 2023. Popped in to find some medicine for my unwell son. When I got to the till there was a elderly lady (greyish brown with hair up) on the phone (on loudspeaker) talking to a man who was swearing and shouting and she was responding back to him in the same manner. I originally thought it was just a customer until I noticed her uniform with her name badge (all I could see was ie at the end of it) I was really shocked that this sort of language and behaviour from a member of staff was happening. I didn’t make my purchase in the end as I was so taken aback by this workers behaviour I left and went somewhere else. Will definitely avoid this shop now, really unprofessional and quite intimidating."
"Service is great. Always very friendly and super helpful staff. Unfortunately, them selves be bare. Probably due to brexit (enter the name Karen and remind voters) lololololololol."
"Have to say customer team member Matt goes above and beyond helpful. Today I had differently with my shopping and bless him, carried my shopping home for me as I only live up the road. Exceptional customer service and always friendly staff."
"Used to be ok shopping here. However....... Staff never friendly. They clearly don’t enjoy working here. Service with a smile is not existent. Recently I have saw a security guard that always follows me about with a very unhappy look on his face. Would almost say he was growling at me.Makes me feel very uncomfortable! Not a good place to shop at all. Queue always long and not enough staff despite having various employees hanging about trying to look busy. Lots of items missing that I know they usually stock but have ran out. One of the worst coops I have visited and I visit a lot as I travel for work. Disappointing to say the least."
"The worse customer experience I have to deal with on a daily basis due to it being my local shops. The 2 ladies working between 630-7am on 8th May are the rudest people I've ever met in retail. One of the ladies started to swear because she had to serve rather than fill up the newspaper stand. The other lady who was scanning items on shop floor came over to the till and muttered something to her colleague and then they both started laugh. Well no doubt same rubbish service tomorrow unless the young lad is there. I don't expect any actual discipline action to be taken. Maybe if you use mystery shoppers as my company does your notice how shocking n what a bad name they give co op. The lady behind till with red face stank to high heaven of alcohol."
