Reviews
"Newly accessible SANG with meadows (orchids) Woods, & wetland. Being managed to encourage wildlife and there were plenty of wildflowers to see. Also an interesting bat barn to give space to bats moved by the huge building works in Aborfield. A decent 3km walk right round on good paths (a few stretches look boggy after rain). Would be great if it could join up with the new Finchwood Park one. Better parking as access a bit tricky & a few more litter/dog waste bins would be good."
"First visit, lovely and peaceful, shame about all the housing going up around it, ive lived in Arborfield for 30 years+ and sad to see all the lovely fields and pastures turning into housing estates."
"Nice place for a dog walk. The path is mainly sand and not well made so it gets very boggy after any rain. Hope the authorities maintain it as many of the newly planted trees are dead."
"It will take many years for the meadow to mature but a good start. The ground was rather water logged when I went so there are probably drainage problems that will need sorting out."
"Fantastic facility for local residents to enjoy. A well thought out and attractive spot."
