"If I could give this place 0 star I would. Old, mouldy pool which they can’t even clean. The worst sauna I have seen. Fits 2 people and it’s in the changing room. Gym was different being on 3 floors and signage could’ve been better. Says pay to park only to find out you don’t. Then why is there signs everywhere."
"The worse David Lloyds ever, best to avoid there’s always something wrong with the place, up to 2weeks the showers were cold and still ongoing.. if it’s not that issue then there’s something else this place seriously needs an in house maintenance person, also please update the outdated equipment feels like a pure gym rather than a David Lloyds."
"ridiculous place. I wish I could read negative reviews before joining. I am not visiting often but it has been twice i experienced this. there wasn't any hot water for the period I stayed there. I reported to staff they didn't even restart boliler but they said they did. I wanted to wait they said it will take 20 min so they need to close facility. they forced me to take shower with cold water. I didn't pay and don't pay for having cold shower. if I didn't have money you wouldn't let me in and use facilities, so why despite our payment you are not servicing us as it should be?"
"I had joined this gym in July on a 12 month contract with the promise of it offering high standards classes, services and facilities. It’s been 4 months and I can honestly say this is the last thing I’ve received. During my time, the staff are extremely slow at responding to any queries and I’ve had to consistently chase up - or explain myself time and time again the issues I have been having. It is not professional or customer orientated especially considering this is David Lloyds. Secondly, the facilities are extremely outdated (this is not the case for other David Lloyds). The pool and jacuzzi area definitely need a refurbishment and the changing rooms are always slightly dirty. The members lounge is also outdated and their isn’t much service in terms of snacks/drinks. Furthermore, the classes lack enthusiasm and as someone who mainly joined for this reason, I have stopped going to them as I don’t feel I get much out of the sessions or the instructors put their efforts in. Due to my personal circumstance, I now have to travel abroad for work and will have little to no time to use this gym on top of higher living costs it’s just proving to be more difficult to afford and continue at this gym. However when raising these multiple issues, It takes ages to get any response to cancel my membership or any understanding on my experience. As the purpose of a gym is to boost wellbeing and health and a customer orientated business, they are extremely dismissive of my situation. I had a purpose of joining this gym to meet my physical and wellbeing goals but this is the last I’ve received. I would expect if someone is simply unhappy to continue on top of other circumstances an understanding here. After reading further reviews and conversations with others who also use this gym, this is a general agreement in terms of staff, facilities and slow services."
"I came to this club because my favorite Pulse8 is closed. I am getting used to new things. Like that you have to bring or buy the locker for changing wardrobes or that there is no plastic bags for wet things in the changing room. But... I really like the instructor Clare and now having all her classes. Today even aqua-airobic after a long break. Also very good thing is Elemis cosmetic in the shower and toilets. This is really good. Changing room is big and comfy. Would be nice to have more hairdryers and plugs next to them for my stretner but its ok. Design of the club is new to me and I am still getting used to it but excellent instructor making it all up."
