"APR was highly recommended to me by my brother who had used them a few months before. I did wonder what his idea of good was however on this occasion he was right, but I won’t tell him that. It was the beginning of October 2022 interest rates were going crazy after Liz Truss and Kwasi Kwarteng had released their budget. After ringing APR I was squeezed into an already packed day full of customers fighting for the lowest interest rates. It was hectic times, article after article was talking about the rising rates. The market was scared, and panic ensued. I was passed to Collette who I can honestly say went the extra mile on every occasion to keep the communication lines open during this stressful time. Whether that was answering the phone whilst walking her dogs in the morning prior to getting into work. Working with me in the late evening to get the relevant information that the bank required, or even keeping me informed during the weekend when I would imagine other brokers would easily have turned the phone off.
