"*Would not recommend if you have food dietary needs* I did not have a good experience eating here while at a Christmas lunch with my workplace. It was made very clear from the beginning of my dining experience that staff did not know what vegan/plant-based diets were. I ordered the only vegan dish from the Christmas menu and when the dish arrived there was a yorkshire pudding on my food. When I asked whether this was vegan they said that they would go and check. I was then told it wasn’t vegan as it contained egg and that I should just remove it from my plate. I was not given anything to replace the item with and I was made to remove it myself. This restaurant seem to have a lack of understanding as to the allergens in their dishes and were not concerned about the cross contamination issues that happened due to their mistake. Thankfully I do not have an egg allergy but their lack of care is concerning for individuals that might have food intolerances. They had labelled many of their dishes incorrectly, such as the cheesecake, which was labelled as having a vegan option but I was later told that this was just vegetarian and gluten free. I have made my workplace aware that I was not happy with how my dietary requirements were catered for and that this made the workplace Christmas lunch uncomfortable and stressful. I did not relax as I was very worried that other parts of my meal were not vegan too. My workplace have said they will be seeking another establishment next year. I would recommend making it mandatory, for the safety and satisfaction of customers, that staff are educated on dietary requirements. It is concerning to work in the food industry and not know what a vegan diet is or how to cater to this diet that is growing in demand."

"I am a vegetarian and on both occasions I have tried to eat from here they have given me meat. The first time I ordered a vegetable curry and received a chicken curry and the second time I ordered the noodles (the non chicken option) and received chicken noodles? Once I would say it was a mistake but twice just seems like they aren't taking dietary requirements seriously. If you don't have any dietary requirements I would say you will have no issues eating here but if you do I suggest you don't bother..."

"Lamb had literally three small pieces of lamb in also gravy not the best too much granules or powder added made it really impossible to eat. Went there to try Irish food and to be honest quite disappointed service was ok but prices and food not good at all. Portions rather on a small side. Wouldn't recommend. Well overpriced"

"Dropped in for a drink and a bite to eat on Tuesday. First impressions were that it was hard to see if the place was open. There were clearly people upstairs, but I'm not familiar with Corby so it took me a while to work out whether the people I could see were actually in the same place. Once inside, I could see there is a down stairs bar and upstairs; So we went straight to the area where there were customers. We had a nice young lady seat us and hand us menus. We ordered our drinks and looked at the food menu. When I went to order the steak, I was told that they had run out. Its a bit annoying when you're not told of this beforehand, so I had a look for something else. I went for a burger and my partner the chicken dish. We also ordered nachos as a sharing starter. The nachos arrived and my partner scalded her hand on the nacho bowl. She was not warned of the hot dish which should have been done. The main dishes were nice. The burger was amazing but the chips were luke warm and stale, like McDonald's fries left at the bottom if the bag. My partner was very happy with her dinner except that the mash was your typically microwaved serving, whereby it was extremely hot in places but not consistently. Overall we were happy. I think there are some minor points that could be improved on for optimum enjoyment, but nothing major."
