"Love this Vets used them for years, great at what they do and very kind people"
"Charli could not have been kinder and more professional. Our cat looked under the weather on Saturday and she took all of our concerns seriously - always acting in the best interest of the animal. When it became clear that the matter was more serious she came in on her day off to make sure both my cat and I had continuity and professional care. I cannot thank her and the practice enough for supporting us. Our dog is also registered with the practice and I would not consider going anywhere else."
"Last few visits, the nurses and vets have been wonderful, always caring, friendly and happy to help, and actually very well priced too. Thank you"
"I have been with Blackwater Valley Vets for more than 10 years. They have treated my pets both at Gordon House surgery and Elm Cottage. Over the years they were always professional, helpful and caring. Appointments were always available (even through lockdown) and having a vet open 7 days helps. My dogs are actually not scared to walk into the surgery which is a proof of how they have been handled. Both vets and nurses were always friendly and approachable. Vet services are not cheap but their prices are always fair. I have only the best things to say about them and highly recommend them."
"Vet was very nice and looked at issue with dogs ears and suggested ear drops, I questioned price and was told that that £57 was the cost and if I wanted to get a prescription to order them myself then they would charge £20 for a prescription on top of the £50 + consultation fee (we was in less that 10 minutes). Turns out the very same ear drops are £25 online so would have been better off paying for prescription. But generally speaking if your pet needs any medication you will be paying a lot for it. No breakdown of costs were given only a till receipt. Had previous issues where we was told to pop in with our cat for quick X-ray and was charged over £200 for it. Get upfront costs from this vet and a breakdown for everything as they don’t seem to realize people with pets don’t have unlimited money."
