"Disappointing and unreliable service. Booked and confirmed a taxi in advance to get to a wedding this week via their app. It came to the pick up time and no taxi arrived. I tried to call the office but was met with an automated message to say they were trying to find a driver for my booking (which seemed strange as I'd booked well in advance) and that they couldn't even give me an estimated time that this might take. I ended up just cancelling the booking and scrambling there in my own car which is what I wanted to avoid! Why take bookings in advance to then not honour them when the time comes??"
"I’ve used this several times for early morning travel and each time it’s been a bumpy experience. Although I book the night before, get a booking confirmation number and get charged the taxi does not arrive on time or at all! The drivers when they do arrive are nice but the service itself is just a terrible experience. Today my 6:00 taxi did not arrive and I had a 6:30 train booked. When I called they said ‘trying to find a car’. Why accept and confirm the booking if you don’t have cars? The worst part however was the service, the person who took my call did not care at all and didn’t seem to understand that taxis are often booked for time sensitive things like work, trains, airports etc. Terrible service that won’t survive in a competitive world. I suspect this company won’t be around for long and I advise to avoid at all costs."
"Used to offer a half decent service. Now it’s automated and a shambles. Pre-ordered can a day in advance, didnt turn up, automated message saying ‘ looking for a driver’. Not helpful when you have a train to catch. Finally was allocated a car but it was too late for me so I spoke to the driver to cancel it but he didn’t speak English so couldn’t understand I was trying to cancel his pick up. Please bin the automated system and return to having an operator and drivers who speak some English."
"I will never use this taxi company again. We prebooked a taxi for 11.30pm following a friends wedding which never turned up. It took me ringing the company, ~15 minutes after the taxi was supposed to have arrived to be told 'we're busy and we have no drivers'. I was given no apology for being left stranded and they didn't even attempt to send the taxi which we had prebooked. Each time we rang we got the same disinterested response of 'we're busy, we haven't got any drivers'. Apparently you are unable to prebook a taxi online even though on the website there is nothing to suggest this is the case and we weren't made aware of this until ~20 minutes after the taxi was supposed to have arrived. If I could give 0 stars I would as the taxi we prebooked didn't turn up and we received appalling customer service."
"Refused to take a disabled elderly lady home because her shopping was heavy (big bags of bird seed), she had already waited a hour and a half for the taxi to arrive even though it was booked in advance and the driver just drove off refusing to take her. The operator acknowledged it was wrong but stated it would be another 1 hour 45 minutes until the taxi could return. In the end the staff at b&m got her home. Would not recommend at all."
