"I was working for the official photographers during this summer's graduation ceremonies, & had cause to be in SUSU buildings throughout. On our final day, the team worked extremely hard after close of business to clear the areas we had occupied, & I needed a soft drink before we departed after another warm day. I approached the door of the bar, to find a doorman demanding I show ID. I told him not to be silly, as I had been in & out of the same door on many occasions, &, in any case, 5 of my colleagues had just got drinks without trouble. He persisted. I gave up & walked away. I am 71 years old, & do not expect to be treated so cavalierly. I wonder how many OAP-instigated riots the SU bar has seen? A little common-sense would have gone a long way."
"You can buy and collect tickets here for student union events and societies. I'm not sure if this review is supposed to include the shop, but the shop is pretty cool, there is an ATM outside it and they sell pasties..."
