"Comfy seats great play and drinks reasonable too."
"Love the theatre, but didnt really enjoy the production I went to see."
"Yesterday we went to the venture theater for the production 'out with a bang'. We were the youngest people there by far but didn't mind as the atmosphere was still great! The staff were lovely from the minute we got there, helping us to our seats, chatting to us and even reccomending drinks! Drinks themselves were really good value, with a diet coke at £1.10 (pub prices are usually £3+ now!!) and the bar was really well managed. The play itself was great, for amature dramatics we were really impressed!! Particularly with actors of the grandma, nobby and Ken! However the rest of the cast were great too! Overall, I reccomend this for a lovely evening out and I belive support local theatre is such a big and important thing now days (especially when it's cheaper than the cinema)"
"I am not sure how to rate the theatre tbh. We went to see Habeus corpus by Alan Bennett. The play was written a long time ago and it showed. The main issue was the casting, particularly the leading Male actors, who were all way too old to be playing the parts they had been given. This play is rarely performed these days and I can see why. We also had some issues where were sat, with deep steps. Two people were hurt on the night were there."
"Great night out with 2 lovely friends. The Last Quiz Night on earth hit the spot perfectly. An interactive quiz with a comedic play by the side. Different and well worth it. Staff are welcoming and we won a bottle of wine, happy days. Will definitely visit again for one of their socials. Well done all .....Apparently not a social, but it got people out and about, which is great :)"
