"Surprisingly Cosy. We had a lively 3 night stay here with our puddle monster of a cockapoo. Hosts made themselves available and were very welcoming and very relaxed about not rushing put on checkout day. The Internet is stated as being very intermittent but we only found a bit of an issue on the last night and made use of the dvd selection, didn't affect our stay at all. Will definitely be returning as the countryside is breathtaking and there was a lot we wanted to do but didn't have the time."
"A nice place to stay, could do with some more cleaning, especially around the ceiling, and better illumination in the bathroom. Was also surprised not to have hot water at the bathroom sink. Otherwise well organised and nice rural setting. Owners were accommodating and responsive."
"Electricity disconnected. Only told the night before it happened. No way to heat, or heat food to eat or use the toilet (electricity sanilav). Very disappointed, the owners obviously knew prior to our arrival. Told at 8.10pm that the national grid were doing planned tree felling! What a let down, ended up with a lung infection after having to spend the day out. Would have expected to receive some sort of refund, none given or offered."
"We stayed a week at this wonderful holiday location. The owners, Kerry and Craig, were very friendly and welcoming and made us feel right at home. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and comfortable base for exploring the Peak District."
"Nice little cosy nest for two. Warm and comfy. Take ear plugs if light sleeper as farm right next door. We were aware of this before travelling so wasn't an issue. Friendly owner, unintrusive. Very dog friendly. Would use again if in area."
