"Very polite and helpful. Tori sorted out my problem with a great deal of patience."
"I always struggled to find glasses I liked so I always stuck with the same frame. Emmie was a great help today who took her time with both me and my mum to help pick out the perfect frame. I ended up choosing one that I never thought about trying on, great service and brilliant overall"
"Market Drayton Specsavers where polite and very efficient from making appointment on the system to my arrival. They looked after me and explained every step of the way what was happening. And the wait time for my new prescription glasses was acceptable"
"I had no problems with them until I had problems. Usual routine appointment goes by absolutely fine, aside from some unprofessional behavior from one of the staff members towards another staff member. I was being seen to by a young gentlemen who was being friendly and complimented the jeans I had on, it was a nice and friendly exchange, we finished the tests, I was told to sit and wait in the chairs. He was then was mocked extremely loudly by his co-worker, loud enough so that I could obviously hear her, she appeared to have made him feel awkward. It didn't sit well with me, so when the young man walked past again I encouraged him not to let her bother him/get to him. Just felt extremely uncomfortable and made a normal exchange feel like something weird. Didn't appreciate her behavior at all. I tried to pull her up on it at the time but didn't get much of a chance as she walked by very quickly. Now onto my main complaint. My prescription had changed, but I like my glasses I currently wear, so I decided to keep the frames and just get the lenses changed. Shouldn't be too complicated right? Wrong. The first lenses arrive, fairly promptly, I go back to the store to have them fitted, return home and notice that as soon as I look at any lights, computer screens or anything that emits a light, I was getting an awful reflection across my left eye and a blurryness. I thought maybe they just needed cleaning but upon further inspection there was a scratchyness to the surface of the glasses. I call Specsavers and ask them to arrange for new lenses to be made as these ones are damaged. I was then made to wait over a week for these new lenses. Meanwhile I was experiencing headaches, I couldn't use a computer at night or look at my phone screen, it had been effecting me every day quite substantially. I then finally got my call that my lenses had arrived. I am relieved, I go to the store, I get my new lenses placed in thinking this would be the last time I'd need to enter Specsavers for the next 2 years - No. I get home. Same problem, but worse this time. Same scratchy pattern on the left lens, but this time it's actually bigger and covering a more surface area. So I ring up Specsavers once more, explain the problem to them, and instead of receiving what I thought would be an apology and an acceptance of fault, I'm accused of creating the damage to my own glasses. "The woman who fitted your lenses said they were absolutely fine when she put them in, and they go through all of our quality checks". At this point all I can say to them is "Why the hell would I damage my own glasses, I have better things to do with my time" - Because you know, people who wear glasses love not being able to see properly. I then had to arrange an appt to go back in the store just to prove to them there was damage so they could inspect my glasses, and re-order lenses for the third time. When I arrive to my appt they agree to my relief that the damage appears to be done by a manufacturing fault. I explain to them that I am extremely unhappy with the way it has been handled, not just because I am having to make constant trips back and forth, costing me a small fortune in petrol (especially with prices how they are at the moment) but it had caused major inconvenience in my life. I had been down in Cheshire staying with my mum who was recently diagnosed with mantle cell lymphoma, she needed me to be with her, she was in shock and emotional, but I repeatedly had to travel miles back to Specsavers and leave her for a fault that shouldn't of been a problem in the first place. Not once, but twice. I then arranged for the third fitting to be done at another store closer to my mothers location, so I wouldn't need to travel so far. Finally, upon the third fitting, (another long weeks wait of headaches and issues with screens) my glasses are finally as they should be. But there was 0 form of compensation, there was 0 apology, no call, nothing. Customer service has been appalling, attitudes terrible. This is not a Specsavers I will ever return too."
