"I had the pleasure of staying at The Relais for 6 nights this Spring. The location is superb. On the main street of the town with direct access and view of the Thames river. Shoppes and restaurants are in abundance with a very easy walk. The hotel is elegantly and uniquely decorated without a detail overlooked. It is an elevated boutique experience with restaurant and lounge. The rooms, though intimate, are well appointed and very clean and comfortable. The team is fantastic, making a last minute booking for me, recommending restaurants and experiences. But the highlight of The Relais' team is Rishi! His energy and warmth are infectious. Rarely do you meet someone so dedicated to guest experience. You must stay here if you're in Henley!"

"Honest reviews are vital. We visited in December and the food and setting were fabulous. However the service was chaotic. All of the team were super friendly however they between main courses arriving lead to a not very relaxing lunch. Last week end we revisited and so pleased to report not only was the food just a delicious, the service was impeccable. Tim has joined from a Michelin Star restaurant and ensured service was not notch. Sunday roast was served pink as requested, and my wife's request of medium well was also cooked to perfection. Large bowl of veggies (out of shot) made for a really lovely lunch. The hotel has undergone an extensive refit we had a tour of the rooms, some of which overlook the river, the dining rooms and bars are also top class. Set on the banks of the river Thames in the historic town of Henley on Thames, this is an idyllic setting. Very much looking forward to visiting again to sample more if the menu. Will definitely recommend as a great place to stay to friends and family. If the service is a good on the next visit, I'd expect a rare five star review to be on the cards."

"We booked a room for lunch with all the family as we wanted something equidistant for us all. We were given our own lounge and dining room which were beautiful, comfortable and ideal for an age range of 76-15 months! The service was excellent, the food delicious and the staff were incredibly helpful and couldn’t have done any more to make our family outing perfect. Thank you to all but particularly to Leanne who was there for every request. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to everyone. It was the highlight of our Christmas. WELL DONE THE RELAIS!"

"I went there with my best friend for a last minute afternoon tea and it was incredible! The food was delicious, the staff super friendly and the setting just warm and cozy. It is now my new favorite place for an afternoon tea! I heard the Cafe there is really nice too, I will give it a try next."
