"Salisbury Playhouse is one of my favourite theatres. It is so welcoming. There are no pillars so good sightlines wherever you sit. Ticket prices are reasonable. The foyer offers a good cafe space for pre theatre drinks or cake. Toilets are on the ground floor. There is a small lift. Great range of shows at good prices."
"Loved the panto took my son for the first time he loved it. Would definitely go again. Great family fun and lovely theatre"
"Salisbury Playhouse is a great arts venue, with two theatre spaces. The main auditorium is comfortable, accessable and every seat has an unobstructed view. It can be configured as a theatre in the round too, (and was for a production of an Alan Ayckbourn play I saw there). The public areas are pleasant, and getting served at the bar is easy. There are a wide variety of high quality plays, films and comedians/shows throughout the year. I last visited on the penultimate night of the pantomime, and every seat was filled, despite a 6 week run. Parking is 100m away, and free from 6pm if you are visiting an evening show."
"Went to see Cinderella Panto with our primary school this morning. What a brilliant panto, every adult and child in the theatre thoroughly enjoyed the dancing, singing, laughs and magic. Amazing team from organising and booking, to main production and band. Would absalutely recommend for festive fun and lots of giggles."
"Just watched Cinderella with my son's whole school. Everyone loved it. I've never seen a whole theatre of children where every single person is laughing and getting involved. Definitely not just for kids. Cast and musicians were brilliant and the Playhouse staff, as always, were friendly and so helpful and patient despite having 2 other primary schools to look after too, plus everyone else. So lucky to have this venue in our beautiful city."
