"I recently had surgery at Rowley Hall and the staff were superb. My consultant Ms Vidya was very reassuring and her professionalism throughout was great. The nurses and anaesthetists who looked after me pre op and post op took time to look after me and nothing was too much trouble. Well done to Ms Vidya and her team"
"Wouldn’t recommend. Was referred to Dr Rao, my appointment was at 10:30 and I was out and back in my car at 10:32 His options for me, option 1) take paracetamol for the rest of my life. Option 2) nerve blocking injections every few months for the rest of my life. He said he doesn’t know why I’m in pain so they are my options. All this after seeing me for a few minutes. 1 hour drive each way to be told something he could have phoned me for. Cheers for the service"
"I had my first ever surgical procedure at rowley hall after a referral from the royal stoke. What an amazing hospital with equally amazing staff - from the receptionist down to my surgeon. I made the staff aware I was nervous and everything was explained to me in detail and that everything would be fine; which it was. Nurse Karen was a superstar and I can’t thank you enough for looking after me. Furthermore, the anaesthetists (I can’t remember any names, sorry) calmed my nerves too and I remember someone holding my hand as I was put to sleep which was very comforting. My surgeon (Dr Chin) was also lovely and gave a brief summary after my operation. I can’t thank Rowley Hall enough! I also got complimented on my choice of footwear - crocs - which also helped calm a lot of my nerves. Thank you to all for making my very short stay at rowley hall a somewhat enjoyable time despite me having surgery."
"Don't bother unless you are a paying customer. Went in 3 days after an operation due to experiencing severe pain and bleeding and the doctor barely checked over me and basically told me to deal with the pain and nothing was wrong. After an agonising night I went to my GP who has diagnosed it as infected and I am now on antibiotics and stronger pain meds. If you are an NHS patient don't bother coming here the aftercare will be appalling.**EDIT - ended up on IV antibiotics in A&E on Friday as the infection had got too bad. If only your doctor there had noticed it on Tuesday. A complaint will be made**"
"Just had a short stay for the replacement of my left hip. Everything went well and the care at all levels was first class, as was the environment. The room I had was clean, well furnished and with nice views of the garden. There was good choice for each meal and the food was well cooked and presented. My thanks to everyone in the hospital."
