"Would not hesitate to recommend, we had first class service from start to finish. The bathroom was planned during the difficult period of lockdown and Sheryl went above and beyond to plan and bring the bathroom to completion. It seemed that nothing was too much trouble and we will certainly use S & A for future projects."
"Worst decision I've ever made. Still finding many problems many years later. Not recommended unless you wanna throw your money away."
"Great company, great staff"
"Bit disappointed really, I had a couple of showers fit by S and A contractors a couple of years ago I have to say the fitters were very tidy around the house ensuring everything was cleaned up at the end of each day, However after fitting I did have to call Simon out to reseal one of the the shower trays against the back wall as the sealant had come away from the tray. After about six months I noticed a very occasional drip through the ceiling below the bathroom. It was very random so didn't really know where it was coming from, eventually the plaster started to stain and gave me a starting point. I went through the ceiling and identified initially that a small drip was coming from the waste of the shower. The hole cut out of the shower tray was off set so the waste plug housing wouldn't fit flush. I fixed that with sealant but there was still water coming through. I contacted Simon but it was about 18 months after fitting and he wasn't interested as I couldn't prove this problem occurred during the 12 month guarantee period. He did say "he wasn't on the tools anymore" but he would see if one of his contractors would be prepared to call round and have a look. I was speaking to him over the weekend so I asked him to ring me back the following Wednesday once he had sorted something which he said he would. I have not heard from him since. I have further investigated the cause of this leak and noticed that the sealant which was replaced by Simon has again come away from the tray. I have identified that this is a result of the tray not being fit flat to the floor and when I step into the shower the tray moves down which over time has caused the sealant to come away. I am in the process of having this poorly fit shower tray fixed. Hopefully it can be sorted with better applied sealant deeper into the gap but I feel I may have to have the tray removed and refit properly. I will then have to find a plasterer to repair my ceiling. The other Shower is fine but having spent so much money with this company I would have thought Simon may have been a bit more interested in customer satisfaction."
