Our Quality Control said that he has never seen such a disgusting example of poor workmanship. How this guy sleeps at night, we really don't know. "Company runs under the name DC BUILDING & EXTENSIONS LTD. Director a Mr DANIEL CARTER..... "Con man" money up front from customer. Builders in to do the work. But never paid anyone who had done work on this site. Filed a CCJ through business county court. He has since moved address and have had no response or any kind of knowledgement!! companies house wants to dissolve the company... on hold until October. So have until then to try and get him to pay up!! Stay well clear. Reporting to the TAX MAN FOR TAX EVASION."
"Very poor. Hired to screed kitchen floor and the job was so bad the vinyl could not be laid. Carter left two young children alone in car while he completed job. He would not answer my calls or come and look at floor. I was told the work wasn’t guaranteed as I had paid cash! I had to pay to have it put right, I reported to trading standards who said they would keep details on file in case there were more cases. I also took out County Court Judgement but wasn’t paid. The bailiffs were unable to seize assets as the business was operating from a council flat and There were no assets. Beware."
