"Our son started at the old town day nursery when he was 6 months and we are very happy about how things are going. The staff was very helpful in supporting his adjustment to the nursery with settling sessions and a lot of care. Our son loves his carers, he always smile and enjoys the company of others babies. They take very good care of him and are helping him with the weaning process. In addition, he is learning so much from the other kids. We could not have been happier!"
"Extremely happy and satisfied with overall nursery environment. Great outdoor space for kids, which is good !! Happy bubbly environment."
"We put our second here, and he thrived. I looked forward to pick up; not much better in life than a beaming smile from an excited little boy."
"We just wanted to pass on how happy we are with Oakwood and how happy and settled our son has been, literally since he walked through the door five weeks ago. We are very impressed with all of the staff: they are so enthusiastic, calm and caring. At the end of his first day, our son said to his teacher: "Thank you for learning me so much!" which made us smile. He also said to me last week: "Thank you Mummy for letting me go to Oakwood", which is an absolute joy for us to hear. We really feel our son's behaviour has improved at home due to the calming influence of the teachers and he is being so much more polite than usual since starting at Oakwood which we are very pleased with. We can also see that he is learning so much in a very fun way."
"AVOID!!! We arrived with our three year old for her first day and nobody knew to expect her, even though all forms were completed and received and the deposit cheque was cashed. There was NO apology, I had to chase the manager to see what went wrong. Went back to discuss with the manager who was not there so saw her "deputy". No staff members knew that she was a deputy manager, all of the doors were open so anybody could walk in. Staff members admitted to having to answer the phones - leaving the ratios out in the classrooms. Nobody was in charge, and therefore nobody accountable should anything ever happen. Disgusting. My three year old is devastated."
