Reviews
"Wonderful place and brilliant bar staff. Highly recommended"
"Improving all the time, the current owners have taken this run down local pub and transformed it into a good local venue. Interior has been modernised, beer garden turfed and made safe, with a kids playground, and food is available. The beer is okay and the guest ale, if available, is often pretty good. Update: New owners in 2022 with an improved beer selection and an interior update. It had gone downhill unfortunately under the previous owners after their amazing start, but things are looking very promising again. Garden needs some TLC, but I'm sure that's on their agenda."
"Had a Sunday carvery and it was absolutely fantastic. All freshly cooked, great selection of meat, veg, potatoes and trimmings, oh and proper, thick, tasty gravy. Great value at £6.95, will definitely be going again."
"Good traditional pub, friendly service serving good beers. Large comfortable beer garden where children are welcome. The pub dogs and cat came to say hello. Will have to visit again."
