Reviews
"Best pub in the area for choice and, all put on in colour order, darks to lights and 'house' beers are from black country brewery superb chestnut mild. Rolls and pies decent. Another pub I don't get to enough."
"I'd been looking forward to visiting this place for a while, having walked past it by chance a few weeks earlier. Double digit ales on tap, with a few new to me. Smaller than I expected it to be but warm, friendly and welcome after a long walk. Unusually, most who were in were in groups whenni was there, with couple propping up the bar. It had a very inviting and welcoming feel to it and will definitely be back for a longer visit."
"Another great success for the Black Country Brewery in rescuing a defunct pub for the community. Serving a large array of draught beers , ciders, and craft beers, this pub is comfortable and friendly. Would love to be able to visit more regularly in the evening, but the bus service means leaving before 8 pm."
"Interesting little pub with friendly service. Very much caters for the Ale drinker. As a lager drinker I didn't have much to choose from (Carling or Staropramen). Better than most of the other pubs in Burton town centre."
